Evaluation and communication of the social impact of CAIS Magazine in Portugal

Development of a report to measure the impact of an initiative by Associação CAIS, an association with the objective of contributing to the overall improvement of the living conditions of socially and economically vulnerable people in situations of deprivation, exclusion, and risk.

CAIS is an association whose mission is to “contribute to the overall improvement of the living conditions of socially and economically vulnerable people in situations of deprivation, exclusion, and risk”.
Its objectives are not only to promote the social integration of people living in poverty or social exclusion but also to encourage local communities and civil society to reflect and identify social solutions for a fairer and more caring society.

Objectives

Exploratory analysis and validation of data gathered by CAIS over the past few years;

Descriptive analysis of the vendors’ profile against the data gathered by CAIS;

Enriching the analysis with data from external sources (NUMBEO).

Results

A report presenting the analyses carried out was delivered to CAIS and served as the basis for an awareness campaign launched to celebrate the 25th anniversary of CAIS.
